I know that everyone has different ideas about design, but being a designer, I take it my wedding design very personally. That is part of the reason that I didn't want to just leave it up to our cake decorator to do whatever she wanted. I really wanted the wedding cake to reflect parts of the wedding. SOOOOO..... here is my fabulous cake, or at least what it will mostly look like. Our decorator (Artistry on Cakes of Bellville) was really excited to have something new to try, and I was really excited to have her doing our cake, because her cakes taste like HEAVEN.
I can not wait to eat this cake! :p gorgeous -- are you having a cake topper? on a random semi-related note, do a blog post about your centerpieces -- I feel like I liked mine, but my tables looked way bare (i was looking at my wedding photos the other day) -- are you going to have something besides the vases, like tealight candles or flower petals on the tables, and are you having pink napkins? Mine was like white tablecloth, white napkin, flowers in the middle - it was like a picnic or something - which I guess was cool because it was sort of an "outdoor garden" theme. I wish my reception had been outdoors...oh well, it was too hot for that. ;) Sorry for the long comment, but there is nowhere else in the world I can talk about this stuff...:)

& BTW, we are skipping the cake topper. S & I couldn't pick one that we both liked, so we opted for none.
